Subject: search

I am looking for a likeness of the cousin of Prince Xavery Drucki-Lubecki, Prince Alojzy Drucki Lubecki, who is buried in New Zealand, in Dunedin. His grave is dilapidated, but we would like to restore it (Polish Heritage of Otago and Southland). I do research on his life but I can’t find a likeness of this character anywhere. He came to NZ from Australia in 1863, where he emigrated with his wife Laura Duffus-Lebecka from England in 1840. He was an insurgent in the November Uprising in 1831 and after its fall he emigrated to Dresden and then to France. From there he went to England where he married Laure Duffues, from an old Scottish family. It is an extremely interesting figure about which there is not much information in Poland. Could you please find his likeness, or suggest us how to find it? Here in Dunedin there are unfortunately no pictures of him or his wife. Alojzy Drucki-Lubecki lived less than a year in Dunedin, because he died on October 7, 1864.
